ISO22000 is a common requirement for including the operation of any food chain organization that voluntarily adopts, manufactures products and gives services, into the safe food system. The ISO22000 standard was first approved as ISO 22000: 2005, and It is later updated as ISO22000: 2018 in 2018. The standard has the following objectives:
To have detailed monitoring on every step of production;
To prevent from serving hazardous products, produced during production, to consumers;
To take corrective action and to prevent recurrence in the event of such error or mistake
ISO 22000 standard focuses on following the steps of principles and implementation of the HACCP (HACCP) system and identifying the actions of management responsibility’s training and continuous improvement activities in accordance with ISO 9001.
