The FSSC22000 standard is a comprehensive management system that covers not only food safety, but also food quality, food protection and, prevention from counterfeiting, and is based on the ISO 22000: 2005 Food Safety Standard and requires additional requirements. This standard allows food producers to identify risks that may compromise food safety, identify monitoring points, and eliminate or at least reduce risks. Any type of product manufactured in accordance with the FSSC 22000 standard guarantees the quality assurance for the safety of food processing, hygiene and the absence of counterfeit products.
